Transform Your Craft Beer Experience

Discover the nuances you've been missing. This "Geek Glass Mini" is not just a vessel; it is a precision instrument designed to unlock the full potential of craft beer, particularly aromatic styles like Hazy IPAs. Created by the renowned Tajima Glass in Tokyo, this glass represents the pinnacle of Japanese glassblowing craftsmanship.

The "Geek" Design Philosophy

  • AROMA: The generous, rounded bowl aerates the beer, awakening complex scents, while the tapered rim traps the hop aromas, delivering them directly to your nose.
  • FLAVOR: Designed to deliver the beer to the tip of your tongue, where sweetness is perceived, enhancing the fruitiness of your brew. The ultra-thin rim ensures a smooth mouthfeel, highlighting the beer's creamy texture.
  • VISUAL: With a thickness of just 0.9 mm, the glass offers exceptional transparency and refraction, allowing you to fully appreciate the vibrant colours and turbidity of Hazy IPAs.

Master Craftsmanship: The Challenge of "Kata-buki"

Manufactured by Tajima Glass (est. 1956), known for their iconic Mt. Fuji Glass and Edo Kiriko, this glass is a feat of engineering.

Using the challenging "Kata-buki" (mold blowing) technique, artisans blow molten glass into a mold while rotating it. The unique shape, a wide, bulging body tapering into an extremely narrow neck, is notoriously difficult to produce. It requires such advanced skill that only select artisans can successfully create it. This is a glass that only Tajima Glass could bring to life.
