Documented

We visited ISOBE in Okazaki, where one family has shaped warosoku by hand for about 300 years.

Bright, steady flame. Quiet, plant-based burn.

Made for daily ritual, this 24-piece set brings back calm, readable light without the glare of LEDs.

Plant-based wax and a washi core produce a clean, upright flame that settles the room rather than overpowering it. One candle is enough for an evening reset, at the table, by a journal, or in a quiet corner.

Use them to frame focus after work or to mark the moment you put screens away. Built to be used, not saved for best.

Key points:

  • 24 candles for routine use
  • Plant-based wax; traditional washi core
  • Bright, stable flame; low residue with correct trimming
  • Pairs well with compact holders and our S-shape stand
