A shallow rectangular dish in rokushō seiji (緑青磁), the soft bluegreen celadon that names the Haas series. Made by Miyama, the porcelain workshop in Mizunami, Gifu. The footprint is generous enough to hold a small pour of soy sauce or sit beneath the matching Haas pitcher to catch drips; the rim turns up gently, the glaze pools darker in the corners.
Miyama works in the 1,300-year Mino-yaki tradition, but the studio's signature is modern restraint: shapes pared back until only what's needed remains. A dish like this is rarely the centerpiece — and that's the point. It does its quiet job, meal after meal.
