Sori Yanagi Medium Plate 15cm — Washokki Marumon, White Porcelain with Blue Spiral Pattern (Sold Per Piece)
Sori Yanagi, 1975. A vision for Japanese tableware, revived in its truest form.
This medium plate carries a blue and white motif inspired by the swirling Naruto whirlpools. It marked a rare moment in Sori Yanagi's work: the first time he deliberately added a decorative pattern, believing this design warranted it. Known for over a decade as the "Washokki Marumon" series before it was discontinued, the pattern has now been reborn under the supervision of the Yanagi Industrial Design Institute.
A medium plate with gentle depth for a main course, curry, pasta, or a plated meal for one. Made for daily life.
Sold individually, one plate per piece. Add a quantity of 2 or more for a matching set.
