A round 13 cm plate from Miyama’s Casane Te series in the Sakura colourway — pale pink with a faint cherry-blossom pattern in the glaze. Slip-cast in Mino, Gifu, Japan, in the same white porcelain body used across the line, finished in Miyama’s specialty Sakura glaze.
Casane Te (重ね手 — “layered by hand”) is Miyama’s contemporary tableware vocabulary — pieces that read on their own and reassemble into quiet still-lifes when stacked. The 13 cm plate is the mid-size in the family: a touch larger than the 11.5 cm saucer, useful as a small bread plate, a tea-sweet plate, or the base of a stacked composition with the smaller piece on top.
